About Us

Locally Owned & Managed by Jim & Deborah McDowell

We fell in love with Blowing Rock and the mountains after years of vacationing and visiting the area while their children attended college at Appalachian State University in nearby Boone, NC. Deborah and Jim are the innkeepers, gardeners, and full-time residents of Blowing Rock. They invite you to stay in the rustic inn and log cabins; get to know the historic Village of Blowing Rock, and experience the surrounding High Country.

We would love for you to come to Blowing Rock and stay with us.
